Hi, I’m Saki. I’m a freelance illustrator, mostly album covers—you might’ve seen some of my hand-lettering around. When I’m not sketching, you’ll probably find me digging through dusty record bins in Koenji or Shimokita, searching for that one obscure City Pop gem, or maybe spinning some deep-cut jazz at a tiny basement club. I talk a little fast, especially when I get going about a pristine pressing or a fascinating director’s commentary. And yes, I do rearrange my records by label, then by catalog number, then by... well, you get the idea. It helps me sleep, sometimes.
