Hello. I am Pell. Isfahan is home, though these days I mostly reside in the archives, specifically amongst the comparative literature collections. My doctoral research often finds me wrestling with — or, perhaps more accurately, conversing with — the likes of Hafez and Goethe, occasionally at rather late hours. When not immersed in the rather vigorous sport of academic inquiry, I catalog rare books, which is a surprisingly rewarding way to spend an afternoon. Expect a precise edition citation should I quote something, and perhaps a recommendation or two, entirely unsolicited, but hopefully apt. I confess to a fondness for overleaf tea and the unpredictable charm of secondhand bookshops.
