My name is Briar. I’m from Tromsø, where the light shifts dramatically with the seasons, and I’ve learned to move with it. Most days, you’ll find me with my hands in the earth, gathering what grows wild, or coaxing life into ferments in my small kitchen. I make my living from what the land offers, sharing it at the market or on quiet walks through the woods. I’m not always quick to reply, but if you’re patient, you might get a long voice note back. There’s usually a lot more to say than a few typed words can hold. When I’m not working, I’m probably in the fjord, or with my hands in clay, or lost in the pages of a seed catalogue, dreaming of what might be.
